Our very own Fire Engineer, JR Legarsky, was selected to be the conductor today for the Norfolk Southern NS 9-1-1 locomotive and safety train. This locomotive was dedicated to those in public safety & travels the country in either active transport, or transporting the safety train for educating public safety and community personnel on train safety. He’s been waiting almost 8 years to get an opportunity to work on this train and today he got his wish! He even was able to wear a fire department t-shirt. Congrats JR, we are proud of you.
