The Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department was organized for the sole purpose of extinguishing fires and protecting life and property of all who reside in the community, those of the surrounding communities, as well as the people that pass through the communities of the Mid Mon-Valley in Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Stockdale Fire Dept, November 15
At 11:57 am, the first alarm assignment of 17 - Stockdale, 16 - Roscoe, 33 - Charleroi, 47 - Fallowfield, & 22 - Lock #4, was dispatched for a Industrial Fire at the Mon River Industrial Complex (Formerly Allenport St 1730 (RESA) arrived on scene and reported a large working fire. Wildland Fire in Fallowfield Twp. 11/9/2024
Stockdale Fire Dept, November 09
Station 17 along with several mutual aid departments across 3 counties were activated to assist Station 47 (Fallowfield) for a large wildland fire in the area of Butsko Rd in Fallowfield Twp Our wildland team and thermal drone responded with 6 personnel and worked for approximately 5 hours.
